Lupus Oakland/East Bay works tirelessly to bring awareness and education to African American women and other communities of color. Systemic Lupus Erithamytosis (SLE or Lupus), predominantly affects women of color but also affects white women as well as men. Unfortunately, most organizations do not share this specific focus. We are committed to helping women heal and live productive lives.
Are you passionate about what we're doing? Let us know! We are always looking for volunteers to help us make our vision a reality. We'll help you find a way to volunteer that best suits you. We're excited to have you join the team!
